Crazy Taxi 3

Crazy Taxi 3 is the third installment of the Crazy Taxi saga, which was first released for the first Xbox, then a year later in arcades, and another year later for Windows. The objective of the game, as with the previous two games, is to try to get the best score possible by taking customers from one side of the city to the other, all without respecting a single traffic law. The faster you get to your destination, the better.

Better graphics and fluidity

This version of Crazy Taxi 3 comes with an executable called CT3Tweaks, which allows you to considerably improve the visual quality of the game. To use this tool, all you have to do is open it, select the folder where you've unzipped the game (no installation required), and choose the desired resolution and frame rate. And that's it. After doing this, you'll be able to play the game with a much better graphic quality than it had originally.

Configure the controls before starting to play

While it's important to run CT3Tweaks before starting to play, it's also highly recommended to open CT3Config. From here, you'll be able to quickly configure all the game controls, no matter whether you plan to play with a keyboard or a gamepad. Moreover, the default controls are not entirely intuitive, with the arrow keys for accelerating and braking but the S and X keys for the gearshift.

Three cities to choose from

One of the novelties of Crazy Taxi 3 with respect to the two previous titles is that it includes a third city. So, you'll be able to play in West Coast, from the first Crazy Taxi; Small Apple, from the second game in the saga; and also Glitter Oasis, the new location for this third installment. Each region has its own special characteristics, so, ideally, you should try to learn all the shortcuts for each one. Only in this way will it be possible to get really high scores.

Download Crazy Taxi 3 if you feel like returning to one of the craziest and most entertaining racing games from the beginning of this century. Thanks to this version, which comes with its own tool to adjust the graphics, you'll be able to enjoy this game with a more modern resolution and a smoother frame rate. The soundtrack, moreover, is the same one used in the Xbox version.
